What We Believe
(Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:21-22; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
We believe in one God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(Psalm 19:7-11; Psalms 119:105; Proverbs 4:20-22; 2 Timothy 3:15-17)
We believe the Bible is the inspired word of our Father God and is sufficient for all our moral and spiritual needs. We believe it provides help, healing, and instruction for our everyday lives.
(Isaiah 53:5-11; John 3:16-18; John 3:36; John 14:6; Acts 2:38-39; Acts 4:12; Romans 8:29-30; Romans 10:9-10; 1 Peter 1:3-4; 1 John 2:2; 1 John 5:13)
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Son of God, and that His sacrificial death on the cross paid the way of salvation for all who will repent and give their lives to Him. We believe that faith in Jesus Christ is the only way for our sins to be forgiven and for our place in Heaven to be secured.
(Matthew 5:16; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:4-7; James 2:14-17)
We believe we are saved by God’s grace alone through faith in Christ alone. We believe we are not saved by our good works, but rather, our good works should come naturally after we are saved.
(John 14:15-17; John 15:26; John 16:13; Acts 2:38; Romans 8:9; Romans 8:26-27; Ephesians 1:13-14; 2 Corinthians 1:21-22)
We believe the Holy Spirit of God is given to all who accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. The Holy Spirit is our Guide, Comforter, Counselor, Intercessor, and our Guarantee of salvation.
(Mark 12:30-31; John 14:12-14; Galatians 5:22-23; James 5:16; 1 Peter 1:14-16; 1 John 5:14-15)
We believe in the power of prayer, offered to God through Christ alone. We believe the Christian life is to be one of holiness, joy, self-control, love of God and love of fellow man.
(Luke 24:36-43; John 20:26-29; Acts: 1:1-3; Acts 10:40-42; Acts 17:31; 1 Corinthians 15:3-8; Ephesians 1:20-21; Colossians 3:1; 2 Timothy 4:1; Hebrews 8:1; Revelation 11:15)
We believe in Christ’s physical, bodily, resurrection from the dead, that He currently sits at the right hand of the Father, and will return one day to judge the living and the dead. We believe He will reign forever as King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
